School closes for day over swine flu


The primary school in Christchurch was close for a day and would probably be open a day after as they found a student who was dianoged by the doctor that she has got swine flu. Therefore, the school was closed for a day to make sure that other student would be okay and anyone wouldn't get infected of the swine flu by that student. The school announcement said that the number of students within 137 would get risk of infection with the swine flu, so that if the parents of the student notice that student have high fever, headache, bodyache, cough, sore at throat, or any other symptoms. The parent should ring the school and give permition to their children to stay at home and the parents should see their children with close and if they don't get any better the parent should take them to flu center as soon as possible. Lastly, the report said that there isn't any report on student sickness last week and the report also said that there was not above 15 per cent of the rate of student who in illness condition by the end of last week.

Education puts life in a class of its own


The researchers have been made the research for the people who study in various level of education. They said that your qualifications (such as your own responsibility,etc.) can express about you more than how hard you are working in the school, although it is a part that tell about you in the school life. However, the level of study are important. According to a new Education Ministry report, said that the people who have highly educated usually more likely to volunteer, recycle and tolerance of immigrants than those people who don't have tertiary qualifications. Moreover, the people in high education level also feel healthier. They usually feel satify in overall thing than lower education level people. The report shows that the people in high education usually have higher stadard of life as the higher salaries they get, more chance to be successful, they actually have better situation in their works or jobs position. Therefore, the report show a lot of different in the percentation of people who attended the class in high degree and people who didn't take any education in New Zealand society.

Holiday travellers keeping safer by following rules


There was the report of nine people who died on road in Sunday afternoon on last Queen's Birthday Weekend. There was the death of 28-year-old mother Aroha Ormsby in Tokomaru Bay, north of Gisborne yesterday as the first report on holiday. Nine years jail for plane hijacker


The Somali woman who named Asha Ali Abdille, she was 36 years old and she was the refugee from horror of Somalia. Abdille was today jailed for nine years for hijacked on the aeroplane flight from Blenheim to Christchurch. Crown prosecutor Pip Currie told the High Court in Christchurch that the kidnapping of innocent air passengers and flight crew must be met with a strong response from the courts. Abdille told that she came from the family with 17 children and she was so happy with her family until she had had to run away when the civil war broke out in 1991. She went to stay with her grandfather ,but it wasn't too long after she ran away from her home. The bandits was attacked her and her grandfather, they cut her grandfather into the pieces but Abdille could escaped away. She was also told about other difficultues in her life such as she went into the camp and met a lot of violents and sometimes she got burry in the refugee camps during the war. She also spoke about the struggle of her life in New Zealand since 1994 and she had been told a lot of things that how hard was her life. The dogtor said that she had got too much of stress and depression which let to the hijacked on the aeroplane. So the doctor said that at the time of the hijacking she was suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and a major depressive episode. However, Crown prosecutor justice her to be in jail for nine years as it was also first time of hijack that occured in New Zealand and Abdille was allege about her aggressive behaviors that she didn't mean to harm or kill anyone.

Website wants free access to TVNZ archive


The New Zealand-made movies and television programmes wants access Television New Zealand's archive(TVNZ)-for free. The New Zealand television was establish in 2007 to run the website and allow the people to watch videos,stories, provide people the general knowledges, various informations. The Project Director of TVNZ, Brenda Leeuwenberge the non-public website which provide people old episodes online, these websites are providing the people on the programme that might already on air for last night, last week, or last year. While TVNZ website will probably offered them the online episodes in last decade or even last centuary. Pea-sized frog discovered


The new specie frogs have been discovered by sciencetist. They live in and around of canivorous plants, the frogs have tiny bodies that a bit larger than the pea-sized. The sciencetist, Indraneil Das who made accident discovery said that he named the frog"Microhyla nepenthicola" after the pitcher plant species. The frog were found living aroun and in the pitcher plants specie which were tubular plants killing the insects suck as ants and flies, but did not harm the frogs. Tadpoles grow in the liquid inside the plants. However, the male adult frogs have the range of size approximately between 10.6 millimetres to 12.8 millimetres which the tiniest specie frogs were found in Cuba have appoximately at least 9.8 millimetres.

The law changing of alcohol will be annouce today. This is the change of length of time selling liqour outlets, pubs and bars. The goverment expected widespread of communities using the new alcohol control laws. The laws will be annouce in formal lately in Octorber and this law requires parent to make cosent and gauge to their children the ages above 18 more strickly before the alcoholcan given to them.

- Greater police power about alcohol

Who really pushed 90 day job law


The 90-day new-employee have been made by the suggest of the Act Party and went against the reccommendation of its own Minister of Labour, Kate Wilkinson.There was many people, the Green party, the Nation Party,and others Party disagree with this politic but the political still accepted in the first place with won score of only 3.65 per cent higher of party vote. Woolworths delivers profit for NZ business


Australian retailer Woolworths Ltd has increased earning in New Zealand. The owner of Countdown and Woolworths reporting before the tax and interest rose up from $NZ208.1 million of last year to $NZ244.1 million in this year. These companies compete with the food stuff, co-operative which operate with New Wolrd and Pak'n'save store. Woolworths said that they have reduced the prices of foods and many things to make the different between their companies. The Woolworths company has been improving it range and it brand to hit the market and the demand of people
The Green Party said that there are a lot of competition between those two big companies, so that this made the vegetable and fruit couldn't grow fast enough to supply. The result was that the fruits and vegetables face ruin. Thus, the business would go lower margin.

Jay-Z to join U2 in New Zealand


The world highest-earning Hip Hop artist, Jay-Z will join in concert with the world highest-earning band U2 on 25 of November at Mt Smart Stadium. Jay-Z who performed Sunday Bloody Sunday with U2 in Germany last year and they confirmed to come to New Zealand and Australia to make the performance in their world tour. The ticket cost started up at $39.90 that will sale on Friday 3rd of September. He lastest made the show on Australia at 2006 but never had a performance in NewZealand. Groups call for ban on Kiwi film


This is a Kiwi horror flim that perform about the girl who was raped by the man wearing a pig's head. This movie contained violent grapic and illustrated the super mental illness person who wanted to take the revenge. This movie is shocking people by many scence in the story, for example there was a pregnent woman being hit with a bat until she miscarriage. Family First National director Bod McCoskrie said that this film contained graphic violence which couldn't represent in entertain way. And the film director said that it was just the common commentary and there was no one talk about the sexual abuse in society. Thus, the film shows about the worst of abusing in society which gives thought to the people.

All Blacks: Carter's ankle surgery successful

The doctor of one player(Dan Carter) of All Black Team said that his angle is now getting better and will get well soon. After Carter has had ankle problem for mre than 3 months, so that he made decision to do the surgery of his ankle that made he missed one international game and he said that hopefully to make bigger success for the team next year. Robinson who is the manager of the team said that he expected that Carter would still be able to play in the end of the season in northern hemisphere tour.

All Blacks: Cruden's chance to shine


Daniel Carter who is the one of the player in All Black team will miss the test and be sidelined for up to two month as he will have to go to Christchurch to do ankle operation. This will be the great chance for Cruden to show his ability in taking Daniel Carter's position to against Australian in Sydney. Tourists warned of lake 'tsunami'

In the Tasman Glacier near Mt Cook have been warned that
there would be heavy rains in the area to the tourisms. This heavy rains would let to the huge iceburg in the lake and might produce tsunami. The huge iceburg in the gracier might made disasters. There was a lot of public controversy came from many signals that have been occured. For instance, the people saw the very distinct line of ice that drawn up to the surface of the glacier and they never seen that huge amount of iceburg before. Finally, if whole lots of the iceburg goes together may produce 10 million tons of iceburg and create surge on the surface of water and produce tsunami.

Cockroach for breakfast 'just gross'

On Wednesday morning, the Rotorua girl and her family was having breakfast all together. Father, Jymel Webber opened a tin of syrup boysenberries he ate half of tin and gave it to his younger daugther and she also ate it a little bit. Then she passed the tin to her elder sister, and she emptied the last of them into her dish. She saw something black, so she looked closer to it and she realized that it is the cockroach. She immediately screamed louly and called her mom to see that it is in the tin of boysenberries. When her mom came she watch it and said that the cockroach looked pretty purple as it stayed in the tin for long time already. And that made her father and her younger sister felt sick in their stomach. She already complained this to hotline customer service to improve their products.
